Dear Tumblr,

Why can we get email notifications for asks, but not for fanmail? Why does the iOS app tell us when we get reblogs, likes, followers, and asks, but not fanmail?

On the desktop “standard” interface, we can tell at a glance if we have new messages. But on the iOS or the mobile browser, we have to click through several screens just to check.

Please include fanmail in other notifications. Thank you.
